What ApplyThread stores
When you use ApplyThread, we store the information needed to run the product: your account profile, saved resumes, tailored resume versions, job descriptions you submit, application tracker fields, and timestamps for saved activity.
For payments, ApplyThread stores plan, credit, order, and verification status. Card, UPI, and banking details are handled by Razorpay; ApplyThread does not store full payment credentials.
How AI processing works
Resume parsing and tailoring may send resume text and job description text to AI service providers so ApplyThread can extract, rewrite, score, and format your resume. We use that processing to provide the feature you requested, not to sell your resume data.
Analytics and errors
ApplyThread records lightweight product analytics such as page views, button actions, feature completion, quality scores, device class, and runtime errors. These events are designed to be behavioral and technical; they should not contain resume text, job descriptions, phone numbers, email addresses, LinkedIn IDs, exact marks, or company-specific private notes.
Data deletion
To request account or resume deletion, email hello@mahilabs.dev from the email used on your ApplyThread account. We will help remove product data we control, while retaining only records required for security, payment, tax, or legal obligations.
Security basics
ApplyThread uses HTTPS in production, authenticated database access, restricted account data, security headers, and scrubbed error reporting. No online product can promise zero risk, but resume and application data should be treated as private by default.
